BUILDING GOOD FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS generally, i have really really bad family relationships. ask any of my friends, and they can tell you that :O i've been complaining to them about how badly my father treats me, etc . dialogue -me : my father is so mean can ! he comes home everyday and just nags and scolds me. i also never do anything wrong !friend : oh okay .............well . guess my friends don really know what else to say . cause i complain too much . i know that my dad has reasons for being so naggy . maybe it's cause he had a bad day at work and seeing me at the computer everyday when he gets home just makes him angry, cause he has to work so hard to pay the bills and stuff. and i hardly greet him when he comes home too. well, what can i say ? im a teenager and im rebellious . i remember once when he came home and seeing me at the computer, he shouted at me, stormed at me, and caned me . i ran to the toilet and cried and cried . after that, i promised that i would hate him forever, for being so unreasonable. and all i did was use the computer for checking of dictionary words !well, obviously, i don dislike my father right now. that's cause i read this book called 'stupid parents' and it teaches me what to do when parents nag at you, embarrass you by shouting in public, and the reasons why they do such things.after reading the book, i began to understand the stresses my parents face and try to communicate more with them, instead of facing the computer all day long and treating my parents as if they're invisible. it's really effective ! :D now my father trusts me more and doesn't punish me without any reason, to which im extremely thankful for .Thank God for recommending that book to me .by eexin (:
