personal grooming

hello. personal grooming is very important, im sure everyone agrees with me. i know some people who immediately bathe after reaching home, and groom themselves very well. for me, im not that obsessive about cleanliness, but im not that disgusting as to not bathe for one week, haha.

personal grooming is of top priority to me. imagine how you would feel if you didnt bathe for one week, and stink. the moment you lift up your arms, and strangers get a whiff of your smelliness, im sure they'll back away from you promptly .

how disgusting.

http://www.viiphoto.com/showstory.php?nID=311 states that
Lauren Greenfield photographed these New York professionals and found out how much they spend each month on their personal grooming. Does spending more mean looking better?

wellllll. my mom buys beauty products, like anti-ageing cream, toner, mosturiser and stuffs. you could see these are self-grooming products. however, my mum doesn't go overboard and spend like $1000 and more each month on these products.

personal grooming is also about poise and dressing. when you go out in the streets wearing some dirty and baggy clothes, people on the street will look at you with a disdainful look and start forming some opinions of their own, like 'this girl has no washing machine is it, wear such lousy clothes.' that's the way people is, so must dress nicely and comfortably alright !

when you walk on the streets with your head down, shuffling your feet, not daring to look at anyone in the eye, people will think you're very shy, not confident, etc. must carry yourself with confidence okay !

dictionary meaning of poise, fyi :
calm confidence in a person's way of behaving, or a quality of grace and balance in the way a person holds or moves their body:
